A motivational lecture for career counseling was organized by the Post Graduate Department of Physics and Mathematics on 17th August, 2012, wherein Wing Commander Amol Apte, Sr. Meteorological Officer, Air Force Station, Halwara, Ludhiana put forth his beneficial ideas on career opportunities.

A Dance Workshop was organized by the Department of Dance from 17th – 26th August, 2012. Padam Shree Awardee Dr. Roop Singh Shekhawat taught the college students the various techniques of Rajasthani Folk Dance.

An International Seminar was organized on 8th September, 2012 wherein Hon'ble Mr. Curt Weldon, a renowned Republican Congressman from United States of America threw light on the vital issue of finance and investment.

Ms. Anjubala from Matrix Salon, Model Town, Ludhiana gave a practical demonstration on hair do which included straightening, coloring and cutting organized by the Department of Beauty & Culture from 18th – 19th September, 2012.

The Dept. of Beauty & Culture organized a live demonstration of Bridal & Party Make-up in collaboration with Make-Up Studio from Holland on 12th October, 2012.

An awareness campaign regarding Breast Cancer was organized which was graced by the benign presence of Dr. B.S. Shah (Medical Supdt., Deepak Hospital and Ex. Medical Supdt. DMC&H, Ludhiana), Dr. Sanjeev Uppal (Head, Dept. of Plastic Surgery, DMC&H, Ludhiana, Charter President, Rotary Club, Ludhiana), Dr. Arvinder Nagpal (President, Rotary Club) and Dr. Rajinder Mittal (Secretary, Rotary Club) on 20th October, 2012.

An ICSSR sponsored National Seminar on the topic ‘Socio-Economic Inequality and Woman Rights in Punjab’ was organized by PG Dept. of History on 23rd January, 2013.

An Awareness Seminar, sensitizing the students regarding ‘Crime against Women’ was organized on 23rd January, 2013 in the college campus where Mrs. Nilambari Jagdale, ADCP, Ludhiana(1) interacted with the students.

Dr. Atamjit Singh, Retd. Principal and a famous playwright highlighted on the thematic aspects of his well known play “Kamloops Dia Machhian” on 28th February, 2013.
