chhabeel was organized on 28th May, 2012.

academic Session with the blessings of the Almighty God, Akhand Path
of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was organized from 23rd – 25th July, 2012. |

With the advent of the
eagerly awaited monsoon, Teej Festival was celebrated in the college
on 9th August, 2012 wherein the campus was decorated with various
antique articles like Bagh, Phulkari, Charkha, Pakhis, Chhaaj and
Daris. |

Jovial smiles and high
spirits marked the welcome parties organized in the college from
28th August – 1st September, 2012. |
|
|
|
To pay homage to the
phenomenal teacher, Dr. Radhakrishnan, the students and the staff
celebrated his birthday as Teachers’ Day on 5th September, 2012. |

|
A special function to
honour Garima Chaudhary, the adroit Judoka who represented India at
the legendary London Olympics, 2012 was organized on 19th November,
2012. |

|
The Silver Jubilee
Wedding Anniversary of Mrs. Nachhattar Kaur, Lecturer in Public
Administration was celebrated with much enthusiasm and incitement in
the college on 20th December, 2012. |

|
To celebrate the
successes and accomplishments of the previous year and to welcome
the New Year a get-together was organized on 20th December, 2012. |
|
|
|
Lohri was celebrated
with fun and frolic on 13th January, 2013 in the college campus. A
cultural programme was put up which was appreciated by all. |

Mr. Prem Gupta,
Secretary, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana and
Chairman S.T. Group of Industries, Ludhiana inaugurated Annual
Athletic Meet on 15.1.2013 and Mr. Yurinder Singh Hayer, IPS officer
of 1999 batch, SSP Jalandhar (Rural) presided over the closing
ceremony on 16.1.2013. |

The Parkash Utsav of
Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated from 19th – 21st January, 2013
by organizing Sri Akhand Path Sahib which was followed by a
sumptuous Langar. |

Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha presided over the
Annual Prize Distribution Function held on 5.2.2013. |

Dr. S.S. Chahal, Vice
Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab
presided over Fashion Flora ’13 on 9.2.2013. |

The Old Students Meet
organized by the Alumni Association on 15.2.2013 was presided over
by S. Gurbir Singh, President, Guru Nanak Education Trust. 87
distinguished alumni who have made it big in life were honoured.

The Convocation-2013,
the biggest event of academic career was held on 16.2.2013. Mr.
Manish Tiwari, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge),
Minister for Information & Broadcasting was the Hon’ble Chief Guest.
373 PG degrees, 468 Graduate degrees, 79 College Colour and 23 Roll
of Honour were awarded to distinguished students. |

The Commemoration
Function of founder of the college late Justice Gurnam Singh was
celebrated on 23rd February, 2013. The Chief Guest was S. Ajmer
Singh Lakhowal, Chairman, Punjab Mandi Board. Government of Punjab. |

March, 2013. |

Farewell Parties were
organized by various Graduate and Post Graduate Departments of the
institution. The valedictory parties were made all the more
colourful by cultural programmes. Principal Dr. Charanjit K. Mahal
in her address gave blessings to the outgoing classes and wished
them luck in all their endeavours. |

A cultural bonanza was
organized to celebrate the Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary of
Mrs. Sunaina Deep, Lecturer in Zoology on 1st March, 2013. |
