The faculty too believes in upgrading their store of knowledge. Principal (Dr.) Charanjit Kaur Mahal was elected as Member Faculty of Languages, Panjab University. The Principal was also conferred the awards of honour by Panjab University and Red Cross Society of Panjab for her services to update the level of education. Two faculty members completed their Doctoral Research, six members were awarded M.Phil. degrees, several members presented research papers in various seminars and published articles in scholarly journals and reference books. Four faculty members have been nominated as Member, PG Board of Studies (PU) in the subjects of Punjabi, Chemistry, Economics and Sociology. Four faculty members have also been nominated as Member, Board of Studies (P.U) for undergraduate classes in the subjects of Botany, Microbiology, Commerce and Public Administration. One faculty member has been nominated as the Executive Member of P.U Sports Committee. Several faculty members attended seminars with a view to extend their mental horizons.
