Co-curricular activities prove instrumental in developing the over-all personality of the students. The students are encouraged to participate with fervour and zeal in these activities. The indulgence of dexterous college students in multifarious co-curricular activities has eventualized into a whopping 105+ prizes in the variegated categories.

Six students of our college participated in Youth Leadership Training, Hiking-Trekking and Rock Climbing Camps organized by the Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh from 26th June – th July, 2012 at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni, Solan (HP).

PG Department of Fashion Designing organized a Window Display Competition from 1st – 6th September, 2012. A large collection based on the theme of Wildlife, Sandy Shoves presented an exquisite show.

Six students of M.Sc. Biotechnology (Hons.) presented posters at International Conference of Biotechnology held at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana on 18th September, 2012.

Department of Computer Science organized an Inter-Class Competition on 19th October, 2012 wherein contests on different categories of ‘On the Spot Presentation’, ‘Website Development’, ‘Debugging’, ‘Extempore’ and ‘Test Your Skills in ‘C’ were held.

Our student Manpreet Kaur grabbed the 2nd prize in Folk Song category and the Quiz Team won the 3rd Prize in Quiz Competition held at Doraha Institute of Management & Technology, Doraha on 27th October, 2012.

Ramanjit Brar clinched the 3rd position in Poem Recitation competition organized by an Organ Donation Awareness Society (GLODAS) held at BCM Arya Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana on 30th October, 2012.

Our outstanding orator Sanchita Arora won 1st prize in Debate competition, Ramanjeet Kaur won Consolation Prize in Poem Recitation and Arshdeep won 3rd prize in Poster Making in Legal Literacy Youth Festival held at SCD Govt. College, Ludhiana on 8th November, 2012.

The eloquent speaker of the college Ramanjit Brar grabbed the 1st prize in debate competition organized by Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust held at SDP College for Women, Ludhiana on 9th November, 2012.

In Inter-Class Declamation contest organized in the college under the auspices of Ved Prachar Mandal on 15th November , 2012 our student Sanchita Arora, Suvidha Jethi and Sheetal Gaba won 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.

Our student Sarika of BA-I won 3rd prize at the Intervarsity Rangoli Competition organized by Panjab Art Council at Bathinda on 16th January, 2013.

Our student Ramandeep Brar of BA-III grabbed 1st position in Declamation Contest and 3rd position in Essay Writing in a competition held at Government College for Girls by District Election Administration marking the celebration of National Voter Day.

Our student Suvidha of B.Sc.-II and Ramanjit Kaur of BA-III won 3rd and Consolation Prize respectively at Ramlal Bhasin Declamation Contest held at SDP College for Women on 8th February, 2013.

At SPARK ’13 organized by RIMT on 9th February, 2013, our students Pooja and Shivam of BBA-II won 1st and 3rd prize respectively under the category ‘Business Plan’.

At Mata Ganga Giri College, Raikot, our students got 10 prizes out of which three 1st prizes have been won in the category of Rangoli, File Decoration and Pakhi and three 2nd prizes in the category of Mehandi, Pot Making and Knitting and two 3rd prizes in Folk Song and Crocheting.

Punjabi Lok Sahitya Academy celebrated Punjabi Maat Bhasha Divas on 14th February, 2013 at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana in which our adroit students seized 3rd position in Poetry Recitation and Punjabi Lok Geet. A Consolation Prize was also captured in Poster Making Competition.

A two day Rose Festival organized by Panjab University Chandigarh on 15th February, 2013, the crooners of the college grabbed the 1st prize in Group Song and on 16th February, 2013, the college students came out with flying colours by capturing seven 1st positions in Poetry, Debate, Rangoli, Face Painting, Mehandi and Slogan Writing and three 2nd prizes in Debate, Face Painting and Slogan Writing.

At a singing competition in GHG College, Gurusar Sudhar on 18th February, 2013, the college students clinched 2nd prize in Group Shabad and 3rd prize in Individual category.

The budding singer of the college Manpreet Kaur won 3rd prize in Folk Song category in Punjabi Bhawan on 19th February, 2013.

On 21st February, 2013, our student Arshdeep Kaur won a Consolation Prize in Poster Making at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana.

Our proficient students bagged 9 first and 6 second positions respectively at the Flower Show held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana on 21st & 22nd February, 2013.

At Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, on 23rd February, 2013, our students Amandeep Kaur clinched 2nd prize in Pot Painting, Navjot Kaur won 2nd prize in Still Life, Tajinder Kaur captured the 2nd position in Landscape, Sarika won a Consolation Prize in Rangoli and Damanpreet Kaur stood 1st in File Decoration Competition.

Amity Global Business School, Mohali organized competitions in different categories on 2nd March, 2013, wherein our students won nine 1st prizes in the category of Flower Arrangement, Oil Painting, Rangoli, Still Life, Fashion Show, Group Song and Hindi Song and two 2nd prizes in Face Painting and Still Life.

On 2nd March, 2013 at a competition held at Rose Garden, Ludhiana, Navraj Kaur won 1st prize in On the Spot Painting.

In Flower Show and Painting Competition held at Gurudwara Sri Singh Sabha, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana on 3rd March, 2013, our students clinched four 1st prizes and five 2nd prizes in Potted Plants category and in Oil Painting Competition, our students grabbed the 1st and Consolation Prize.
